Pietrasanta cultivation and culture brings with it an event dedicated to citrus fruits. Agrumeta

as well as the art of cultivating citrus fruits will take place from April 5th to 7th in Pietrasanta

Discovered casually and also thanks to the second edition of Agrumeta mour town was made famous by Cosimo de Medici who set up nurseries of citron lemons from Pietrasanta itself.

Today the Municipality of Pietrasanta has created this event dedicated to citrus fruits symbolizing the fragrant essence of our Mediterranean region.

The event encompasses varoius fascinating themes for a scented weekend.

Event in Pietrasanta take place from April 5th to April 7th 2024 in the historic center of our city at the Cloister of S. Agostino and in the adjacent garden where the plant exhibition will be held

Here citrus fruits books and citrus-flavored dishes will be exhibited. there will be discussions on cultivation and care of these plants, as well as thei culinary uses with francesco Fornesi

Restaurants will collaborate to offer dishes featuring citrus fruits in meat or fish dishes.

The event begins on April 5th to April 7th 2024 and ends on Sunday evening

Organized by the Garden Club Verzieri Toscana in collaboration with our Municipality of Pietrasanta

Pietrasanta cultivation and culture will give you the opportunity to spend a weekend open air in the cultural setting of Pietrasanta till 7 pm on Sunday April 7th with free entrance
