A perfect motorcycle itinerary for motorcycling enthusiasts is certainly the Linea d’Arni

A long road that crosses all the beautiful Apuan Alps where you can admire some splendid ones

landscapes over the whole of Versilia and beyond.

The road begins in the characteristic village of Seravezza after passing the Medici palace,

UNESCO heritage site, continue to the right and begin the real Arni line.

After about a kilometer we will find in front of a crossroads, we must continue on the right,

from here on you will begin to rise in altitude and immerse yourself in the mountains.

We recommend a detour along the road towards Passo Croce, a town at the foot of Mount Corchia, from

which you have a beautiful view over the Versilian coast and on clear days without haze

it is possible to see Corsica.

The road continues straight up to the Cipollaio tunnel, a long tunnel of more than a kilometer, after

that we find a crossroads with a road that continues on the right and one that continues straight and we

have two different possibilities.

We inform you that at the crossroads there is an old marble quarry that can be visited.

Descent from Massa – Motorcycle itinerary

Arrived at the crossroads adjacent to the old henraux quarry we can decide to go down towards the city

of massa turning right at the crossroads.

The road is also breathtaking on this side with the rocky walls on one side and the sea view

on the other, from which you can see both the port of Carrara and the Cinque Terre.

Once you arrive in Massa, just follow the road signs to return to Pietrasanta.

Descent from the Garfagnana

If at the crossroads near the old Henraux quarry you go straight on you will arrive in Garfagnana and you

will be able to return in Pietrasanta crossing the entire Serchio valley and passing through Lucca.

There are many lakes in the Garfagnana area and above all

the holy lake which is located right along the proposed itinerary.
